In short: MyGarageCare publishes independent, editorial reviews. We don't sell products. Purchases happen on retailers' sites, under their terms. Our content is general information, not professional advice, and you use it at your own judgment.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of mygaragecare.com (the "site"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy also apply.

2. What we are, and what we aren't

MyGarageCare is an independent, reader-supported publication. We review car-care and automotive products.
We are not the manufacturer, seller or distributor of any product we review, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any vehicle or product manufacturer unless we clearly say so.
Product names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the products discussed.

3. Affiliate links

Some links on the site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never change our verdicts, and we say where a product falls short. Pages that contain affiliate links carry a disclosure.

4. Buying from retailers

When you follow a link to a retailer, you leave our site. Any purchase is a contract between you and that retailer, under its own terms, pricing, shipping, returns and warranty policies. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, orders, payment, delivery, refunds or customer service. Prices, discounts and availability can change at any time. Always check the retailer's order summary and policies before you pay.

5. Our content is general information

Reviews and guides reflect our editorial opinion and the information available when we wrote them. They are not professional, mechanical, legal or insurance advice. Products, specifications and terms change, and we can't guarantee every detail is current or complete.

Before using any product on your vehicle, follow the manufacturer's instructions and your local laws (for example, rules on windshield-mounted devices and on recording video or audio). Dash cam footage may support a claim or report, but it does not guarantee any outcome.

6. Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the site: no attempts to disrupt it, gain unauthorized access, scrape it at scale, or use it for anything unlawful.

7. Intellectual property

The site's text, design and original images are owned by MyGarageCare or used with permission. You may share links and short quotations with attribution. Please don't republish whole articles or images without our written permission.

We link to other websites for convenience. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.
